Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments from the following countries only. Europe(UK, Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland), North America, Canada, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand only then place your order and your card company will convert the transaction your own currency. Please contact Silver Gems Jewellery before purchasing if your country is not listed above, this is due to the high number of fraudulent transaction we have recieved recently.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online can you please contact us by telephone at +44 (0) 1786 447594 Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm GMT UK.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Orders less than £50 are sent by recorded delivery. Orders greater than £50 are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note you will need to sign for your item when it arrives.

Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 1 or 2 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

UK and Worldwide
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. All our prices are VAT inclusive.
Credit Card Security
We at Silver Gems Jewellery take online security extremely seriously and use a third party company called Actinic Payments to process card transactions. Actinic Payments uses the latest 128 bit encryption and all payment is done via a SSL secure site. We at Silver Gems do not have access to any card numbers, all processing is done via Actinic Payments for peace of mind.

1. All items come with a 7 day no quibles ask return policy. Just return the item as arrived and we will refund the original amount minus the postage if applicable.

2. All items come with a 30 day faulty money back guarantee. Simply return the item and we will either replace the item, or refund the item value and the original postage cost if applicable.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, minus the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Returns Policy
Faulty Items
All items which arrive faulty will be replaced free of charge and the original postage price will be refunded. Please can you use the 'Contact Us' section of this website stating your Name, Address and the Item of jewellery you are sending back. If the item is out of stock we will provide a full refund on the original payment method.
Non-Faulty items
If you are not happy with the item received you can return the item un-damaged within 7 days of receipt. Please follow the procedure below:
1. Send us your details through the 'Contact Us' section of this website. Stating your Name, Address the item of Jewellery you are returning and why you have decided to return the item, this is so we can improve the service we offer our customers.
2. We will provide a full refund from the payment method first provided, please note we cannot refund the original postage charge if purchased outside of the UK.
