Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We currently process online payments with PayPal. You will be required to be a PayPal account holder or create a PayPal account prior to online purchase.

Shipping And Handling
We offer a number of shipping options for UK and Intertnational customers. All items are enclosed in a protective jiffy bag and are sent in via Royal Mail recorded delivery which requires a signature on receipt. If you are not available to sign for your delivery, Royal Mail will leave a calling card detailing collection instructions from your nearest depot. For international (Europe USA & Rest of World) customers the local postal service will handle delivery.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Alternatively, please email us if you would like a similar product.

Tax Charges
All orders are currently VAT free. However, any customs or import duties on the goods are payable by the customer. Silver Gems Jewellery have no control over these charges and we would advise international customers to contact their local customs office for further information

For online orders we use PayPal secure encryption. PayPal (Europe) Ltd is regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an electronic money institution. For telephone orders we use a Streamline credit card system via the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Guarantee
We guarantee that all are products are all authentic 925 Sterling Silver with a 925 hallmark. Our jewellery undergoes an inspection on delivery from our own suppliers and prior to shipment to customers.

925 is the offical legal standard of silver quality set by the UK Assay offices.

Returns Policy
Under the EU distance selling directive, customers can return goods within seven days of receipt. We will refund postage costs if the products are found to be damaged.

Damaged or incorrectly delivered items (those despatched by us in error) should be returned with a note explaining the problem.

To ensure safe transit, item(s) should be wrapped in the original delivery box or one of equivalent quality.

Any refund will occur within 30 days of cancellation, on the credit or debit card that was originally used to complete the transaction. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

We regret we cannot offer refunds on pierced ear-rings due to health and hygiene issues.

Remittance Terms
All goods require to be prepaid. We can accept payments online with our online store. We currently use PayPal to process payments. Customers are required to be PayPal account holders or to create a PayPal account prior to purchasing. We can also accept telephone orders and payments by cheque. When paying by cheque please include your name and address on the back of the cheque. Please allow 3-5 working days for cheques payments to clear.
